Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & first evening
Met at Cairo Airport with meet-and-assist and escorted to your hotel, then a relaxed first evening to settle in together.
Day 2: Pyramids & the GEM
The Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx with your Egyptologist, with plenty of time for photos, then the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Day 3: Old Cairo & the bazaar, then fly south
Coptic Cairo and the colour of Khan el-Khalili for shopping and mint tea, then a flight to Aswan and onto your cruiser.
Day 4: Aswan, Philae & sunset felucca
The island Temple of Philae and a living Nubian village, then a golden-hour felucca sail, the photo everyone came for.
Day 5: Abu Simbel & the queens of Nubia
An early visit to Abu Simbel, with the story of Nubia's warrior queens, then sailing toward Kom Ombo.
Day 6: Kom Ombo, Edfu & deck time
Riverside temples by day and time on deck as you sail north to Luxor.
Day 7: Luxor & an optional balloon sunrise
An optional sunrise hot-air balloon, then Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings, and a farewell dinner together.
Day 8: Departure
A slow final morning before your airport transfer with meet-and-assist.
