Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Welcome to Egypt! Your grand Middle Eastern tour begins with a VIP welcome at Cairo International Airport. You will be transferred in a private vehicle to your luxury hotel. Settle in, relax, and prepare for the incredible sights ahead.
Day 2: Pyramids & GEM
Meet your private Egyptologist to explore the monumental Giza Plateau, taking photos with the Pyramids and the Sphinx. In the afternoon, discover thousands of pharaonic treasures inside the modern architectural marvel that is the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM).
Day 3: Fly to Aswan
Take a morning flight south to Aswan. Visit the impressive High Dam and take a scenic motorboat ride to the romantic Philae Temple. Afterward, board your luxury 5-star Nile Cruise, enjoying lunch on deck as you prepare to sail.
Day 4: Nile Cruising
Sail to Kom Ombo to visit its unique double temple dedicated to the crocodile and falcon gods. Continue downriver to Edfu, taking a traditional horse carriage to the massive, stunningly preserved Temple of Horus. Enjoy a relaxing evening on the ship.
Day 5: Luxor West Bank
Arrive in Luxor and cross to the West Bank. Descend into the intricate tombs in the Valley of the Kings, admire the terraced Temple of Hatshepsut, and view the Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon, explore the massive columns of Karnak Temple on the East Bank.
Day 6: Fly to Amman, Jordan
Disembark the cruise and transfer to the airport. Fly from Egypt across the border to Amman, Jordan. A new guide will meet you upon arrival, handle your visa procedures, and transfer you to your hotel in the Jordanian capital.
Day 7: Amman City Tour & Wadi Rum
Take a morning tour of the Amman Citadel, exploring its Roman ruins and sweeping city views. Next, drive south into the cinematic, red-sand desert of Wadi Rum. Hop into the back of a 4x4 Jeep for an exhilarating safari through the dunes, completely surrounded by towering cliffs.
Day 8: The Rose City of Petra
Dedicate a full day to exploring Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Walk through the narrow, winding Siq canyon until it dramatically opens up to reveal the stunning, rock-carved Treasury. Spend the day hiking and marveling at the Nabatean architecture.
Day 9: Madaba & Mount Nebo
Drive to the town of Madaba to see the famous, ancient mosaic map of the Holy Land housed on the floor of a historic church. Continue to Mount Nebo, where you will stand at the spot where Moses is said to have looked over the Promised Land.
Day 10: The Dead Sea
Descend to the lowest point on the surface of the earth: the Dead Sea. Check into your resort and spend the day effortlessly floating in the incredibly buoyant, mineral-rich waters. Try the famous, mineral-heavy mud masks for a natural spa treatment.
Day 11: Return to Cairo
Check out of your Dead Sea resort and transfer to the Amman airport for a quick flight back to Cairo. Check into your hotel and enjoy a lavish farewell dinner, reflecting on the incredible ancient sites of two different countries.
Day 12: Departure
Enjoy a final breakfast. Your private driver will collect you from your hotel and transfer you to Cairo International Airport for your flight home, concluding the ultimate dual-country epic.
