2027 Total Solar Eclipse Over Kemet: Totality From the Land of the Pharaohs
Witness the longest total solar eclipse on accessible land this century, over six minutes of totality, from Luxor on August 2, 2027, framed as a heritage journey through the land of the Black pharaohs.
Overview
On August 2, 2027, the Moon's shadow sweeps across Luxor and the sky goes dark over the greatest temples of the ancient world. It is the longest total solar eclipse on easily accessible land in the 21st century, with up to 6 minutes and 23 seconds of totality near Luxor, and it will not be matched until the year 2114. We have built a private heritage journey around it: the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo, a five-star Nile cruise, and eclipse day itself spent in the path of totality among the columns of Kemet. Demand for August 2027 is extraordinary and hotels and cruisers sell out far ahead, so this is a book-early journey. Dates are fixed around the eclipse; everything else is private and tailored to your group.
