That moment is what this journey is built around. Eight days through Cairo, Aswan and Luxor as one private group: no strangers, no fixed coach departures, just your crew, your own Egyptologist, and a five-star Nile cruiser sailing the river through ancient Nubia. Itinerary
Day 1: The whole crew lands
Meet-and-assist gathers your group at Cairo Airport and private vehicles bring everyone to the hotel together. The first evening is deliberately easy — a welcome dinner, room keys that were sorted weeks ago, and the feeling settling over the table that this trip is really happening.
Day 2: Giza, together
The day everyone has waited for: the Giza plateau and the Sphinx with your Egyptologist, unhurried, with time for the full group photo. Then the Grand Egyptian Museum in the afternoon, where Tutankhamun's treasures leave even the loudest cousin quiet.
Day 3: Cairo's old quarters, then south as one
Coptic and Islamic Cairo in the morning, a sweep through the Khan el-Khalili bazaar, then the group flight to Aswan where your private cruiser is waiting — cabins assigned, bags delivered, sail set.
Day 4: Philae and the Nubian welcome
The island Temple of Philae by boat, then an afternoon in a living Nubian village where the welcome is loud, warm and real. At sunset the group takes to feluccas among Aswan's islands — cameras out.
Day 5: Abu Simbel, the deep south
An early start for Abu Simbel — Ramses' colossal temples in the heart of ancient Nubia, and for many guests the emotional summit of the journey. Back to the boat, sailing for Kom Ombo as the group swaps photos on deck.
Day 6: Temples on the riverbank
Kom Ombo's double temple and the great sanctuary of Horus at Edfu, with lazy deck time in between as the Nile does what it has done for five thousand years. The card games and the debates find their own rhythm.
Day 7: Luxor's giants and the farewell table
Karnak's forest of columns, then across the river to the Valley of the Kings. That night, the farewell dinner — toasts, laughter, and the particular satisfaction of a group trip that actually worked — before the flight back to Cairo.
Day 8: Home with the story
Private transfers and meet-and-assist see the whole group through Cairo Airport. The group chat will never be the same.
